edge of beautiful Exmoor, Devon.
- Our 4.5 acre syndicate lake has approximately 85 fish with over 20x 30lb+ fish up
to just under 40lbs, we are hoping for our first 40lbs+ spring 2017.
- There are 4x 30lb+ commons and a 30lb+ true leather.
- This is now one of the best big carp waters in Devon, to enquire further about joining
the waiting list for the syndicate just get in touch with us, please note we do not
allow day ticket fishing on this lake, it is strictly members only.
Road lake
The Rules of Road Lake, new from November 2014
- All hooks to be semi barbed only
- No lead core
- No fixed leads
- No visitors except for immediate family members
- No leaders of any kind this includes safe zone leaders
- No shelf life boilies to be used, fresh boilies only
- Only pellets to be used are those provided by the fishery
- No nuts or beans
- Particles can be used in moderation
- Only use the Mats, slings and landing nets supplied by the fishery
- All fish to be returned to the water via the weigh sling do not carry the fish.
- No self-take photography
- 3 rod limit
- No sacking of fish and please keep the period fish are out of the water to a minimum
- No bent or curved shanked hooks to be used, maximum size 4.
- No line under 0.15mm to be used and no braided mainline, braid is permitted on marker
and spod rods.
- Rods not to be left unattended
- Fishing from designated swims only, no wading
- No cutting back the vegetation
- All anglers must carry and use a carp medi kit at all times, if any fish has extensive
damage, retain and call the house for assistance
- No baitboats
- The use of the onsite boat is to be used for snagged fish or tackle, do not pull
for a break, life jacket must be worn at all times and one is found inside the mat/sling
container, if you need any assistance please call the house for help, do not use
the boat if you are not capable/experienced
- It is understood that the use of the fishery and boat is undertaken entirely at your
own risk, we accept no responsibility for any loss or damage to persons, belongings
or vehicles.
- Use the onsite toilets provided, not the bushes
- These rules have been designed for the safety of all people using the lake and the
welfare and well being of the fish. Anyone found breaking the rules will be banned
from the fishery without exception and no refund given
All the above rules will be strictly enforced and regular rig checks will be made.
Fish welfare and safety are of uppermost importance, if you are in any doubt whatsoever
please ask for assistance.
Anyone found in breach of the rules will be asked to leave the fishery immediately
without a refund.
